Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Check out the cover art!
Being a huge fan of Martin & Lewis I was pleased to see that this movie had been released to DVD. Not sure why it wasn't included in the Martin & Lewis sets that featured all of their movies but three. The movie itself is a classic but I was disappointed in the cover art. The first mistake I noticed was on the back cover. Instead of a scene from this movie a scene from "The Caddy" was used. Also, on the front cover, I noticed the dollar bills used were not even in existance when this movie was made. ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Inquiry
I was just as excited as the rest of you M&L fans to see another film from their catalog released for the first time on dvd but I had an unpleasant surprise with my copy - numerous freezes in chapter 17 that overwelmed my progressive scan dvd players capacity for dealing with such defects. Otherwise I quite enjoyed this lesser effort of the duo because, as all of us know, regardless of all else it is an ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Worth the Money
OK, my opinion is that this is one the best of the Martin and Lewis movies. And much better than many of Lewis' own later films. There are no dull spots; the songs are not too long, all are entertaining and most are funny; Lewis is both ridiculous and clever, and as in "The Caddy" he comes across as sympathetic and talented. There are no moments of attempted pathos. The supporting cast is excellent, the ensemble work is first class, and the timing between actors is much fun to watch. The only disappointment ... Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - My absolute favorite movie EVER
My #1 favorite movie of all time. I'm a huge Dean Martin fan, and this movie cemented it for me. They just don't make guys like that anymore. The movie offers lots of quotables, like "ha ha and ho - that's a jolly notion" and is, that I've ever found, the **only place** to find Dino singing "I Only Have Eyes for You." I am so very happy it's finally out on DVD!
