The Immortals of Terra is a point in click adventure. It brings both the best and the worst to the genre. First of all the game is titled A Perry Rhoden Adventure, The Immortals of Terra. Which implies it's some kind of on-going saga. True that . . . if you come from Germany. In a certain sense this is Germany's version of Great Britain's Dr. Who. "The Immortals of Terra" is actually a pretty good game. Unfortunately, it's not the game I thought I was buying.
Most adventure games tend to fall into one of two categories: story-driven, or puzzle-driven. This game is definitely geared more towards the puzzles. The storyline actually had quite a bit of potential, but it never really goes anywhere. You play as Perry Rhodan, who must try to rescue his friend after she's kidnapped by mysterious agents. Glad I bought it, its an great game but it does some things that are unique and new. Graphics are excellent.

I guess we should be a serious fan of this series to enjoy the game since it requires a lot of patience. I couldn't play more than an hour since there was so much running back and forth & with very long loading between screens, it felt like more waiting & staring at a black screen then playing a game!
The graphics are very nice but it seems the style of gameplay is old school. The loading time completely takes away any chance of enjoying this game at all.

i read the reviews here and had to see for myself, and yes the graphics are very good, the story is very good, the characters are cool, the puzzles are good and explainable, a few pixel hunts.I was very pleased with the game and was wanting to play more and more..the only bad part is the 1 to 2 second black screen you get when you move from screen to screen.by pressing the right mouse button you auto move to the next screen wihtout having to watch your character walk across, this made up for it.any adventure ...
