With Spider-Man: Web of Shadows swinging across every platform, you'd figure that the PS2 would get a watered down version that if anything, was close to that the Wii would see. I was so excited about this game after seeing the trailer, I ordered it without waiting for reviews. Boy, I should've waited. Absolutely the worst game I've ever purchased. Played it all of 10 minutes and will not ever play it again. I'll be trading it in a week or two as it is a terible sidescrolling game.
I can't believe they can get away with selling this without a huge disclaimer that states it is nothing like the trailer.

This is what I worred about when I saw so many versions of the game out. The studio only put out screen shots of the ps3 and nintendo DS versions. Not of the Wii or the PS2. This game is NOTHING close to the trailor that was put out months ago. I am actuly trading this to the game store for the Wii version...I pray that one is better.

MY GRANDSON SAVE FOR THIS GAME BY WORKING , BUILDING FENCES...WHAT A WASTE OF HIS MONEY,,HE GOT THIS GAME ON THE PS2. THERE IS NOTHING TO THIS GAME THAT IS CHALLENGING TO ANY PERSON OVER THE AGE OF 2. WE ARE VERY UPSET THAT A COMPANY WOULD CHARGE $39.99 FOR SUCH A GAME, TRYING TO LEAVE A COMPANY FEEDBACK, JOIN IN.

i bought this game for the ps2 last tuesday and when i got home to play it,well let me say that this is the worst spiderman game on the ps2 ever!!!DO yourself a favor and don't buy this game for the ps2 because if you do,well you are going to be very disapointed!!!
