The NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fixate on the grim comic book aesthetic, plying the Turtles with coarse texture and somber fluidity. Each Turtle is presented stoically; stylized ink details emphasize the musculature and armor plating. NOTE: Each of the single Turtles include weapons and display bases in addition to that shown in the photo above. Leonardo is clad in a narrow red mask, a brown belt, gauntlets, elbow pads and knee pads; he is characteristically armed with twin katana swords. Leonardo is extremely enamored of the sage Splinter, and is rigidly dictated by a code of honor. Noted for his disciplined demeanor and keen strategic mind, Leonardo is generally recognized as the leader of the group. Splinter rigorously trained the Turtles and eventually assembled them to avenge the murders of Tang Shen and Hamoto Yoshi by engaging Oroku Saki in battle. Leonardo participated with his brothers in the confrontation of Sakiâs Shredder persona; this original battle was a rooftop fight that concluded with Shredderâs death.

NECA has managed to introduce a new feature to their toy line... articulation! This is key in having a toy that will attract children as well as adults. The package states over 20 points of articulation, but I assure you that there are more than just 20! This figure is amazing, great paint job with an amazing sculpt!
