It's a nice model, but I expected a bit more quality for $[...]. The instructions were pretty much useless. The stand connections are very flimsy. And I was disappointed in the quality of the sound effects. Most of my 2yr old's toys have better sound.

Great replica of the first Next Generation version of the Enterprise. Well built and large. Saucer separates from secondary engine hull. Sounds, lights and feel are just great. The hidden magnets holding together the saucer to the secondary engine hull are ingenious and powerful ! A must have if you want to collect all the Enterprise star ships.

This Enterprise-D has got to be the most detailed ship I have ever had in a long while since my childhood. Everything from the warp lights and deflector lights to the voices of Captain Jean-Luc Picard really makes me wish that I had gotten this a long time ago. The one that I have recieved was, of course, a bit better than some of the other units of the same type, and so I think that I lucked out getting this one. I really like the model and it is very detailed relative to others I've seen. The magnetic separation works well and holds the ship together quite well when connected. It makes for a very "swooshable" ship. The lights look great and really are an important element to convey what the ship is all about. I'm not terribly keen on the voice clips, but that's just me, I get tired of the same collection of noises being repeated over and over again on any toy.

The enterprise model - toy is great. It has great detail nad good paint job and the lighting is good as well. The best detail is the teflector and its semy transperent plastic part that lights up. all in all a great thing to have for older people as a model and for children to play.
