Which Size HDTV is Right for My Room?
 | With standard-definition TVs, the rule used to be that viewers would feel comfortable watching a set from a distance of 3 to 6 times the screen size in inches. With HDTV, the resolution is so much better that you can sit closer to a larger TV without noticing the pixels. So with HDTVs, the rule tends to be you can sit anywhere from 1.5 to 3 times the screen size (in inches) for the best experience.

Hooked up the cable, took the 'auto' install defaults, it completely installed itself, and was running in just a few minutes.
The base / tilt angle is adjustable and simple to do;
The factory setting for the speaker sound was sort of 'small' and 'tinny' sounding...so I went into the menu, found several other sound choices, and found that the choice for 'movies' gave a far better sound ... Read More

- WHy buy overpriced small "HDTV LCDs?"Why would you spend almost $300 dollars for a sub-par, 19-inch 720p LCD, when you can find 22 inch LCD widescreens for ~ $150, that handle resolutions up to 1680x1050 and have built in HDMI. Don't spend money on these overpriced LCD screens just because they're labeled as an HDTV. Look for 22 inch LCDs and you'll spend a fraction of the money for a better product.
