2008 two CD release featuring pre and post-Christie recordings from the band's leader. Jeff Christie achieved worldwide success with his group Christie and their Number One smash 'Yellow River' and 'San Bernardino' in 1970. Prior to forming Christie, Jeff was in a group called Outer Limits, who had a number of singles released in 1967-68 on the Deram and Immediate labels. Disc One features Outer Limits' complete recordings from that period (22 tracks). After Christie Jeff recorded a solo album in the late 70's Floored Master, which for contractual issues was never released-until now. This album is featured on Disc Two complete with six bonus tracks. 44 tracks total. Angel Air.

I admit that I'm a bit biased, being Jeff Christie's only American 1st cousin and a fan of his music for the past 35 years! I remember many of these songs, especially when I saw him play in 1965 in a club in Britain. I got to hear some of my favorite songs of his in person when I went to visit him 3 years ago and they are just as fresh today as back then. (My favorites are: You've Got the Love, Turn on Your Love Light, Both Ends of the Rainbow, Another Point of View, Back on the Boards). Buy it ... Read More
