The item got here quickly and is of good quality. I will be wearing it again without the costume sometime.

The tie is very nice and well made. He could easily wear it for a special occasion, if the colors worked with his dress clothes. The colors are more purple then red, but we were quite happy with them. Shipping was expensive, but the price of the tie is reasonable.

This was listed as a child's tie, but is much closer in size to an adult tie. My 7 year old son tried it on and it went several inches past his waist line. Because it was adult sized we had a hard time tying it without ending up with a huge knot. It is a good quality tie and authentic colors, but not child sized.

not a clip on.. a real tie.. Introduce your child to the joys and Mysteries of the Windsor Knot with this cool costume tie. because it looks like a real school tie and doesn't have the HP emblem on it. your child can wear it as a tie and only insiders will know it is a Harry Potter Griffendor tie. How cool is that!

This is a child's tie and it is not the red and gold of Gryffendor but purple and gold. Still it did look nice.
