Farrell MacDonald Synopsis: A group of Texas Rangers are forced to retire after a cavalry regiment takes over. However, the cavalry cannot handle the local bandits, foreign terrain, and corrupt local government. Roy's ex-Ranger brother is killed, and he convinces the Rangers to go find his killer. They capture the criminals and oust the corrupt politicians.

Lots of fights and action ensue between Regan's gang and the investors, and Carol repeatedly mistakes Roy as a bad guy.

Lidden refuses and fires Jeff and Gabby. Then a gang of outlaws sabotage the stage coach line and the railroad, and Liddell and Benton have to work together. Jeff and Gabby investigate Black Bart's gang members, and try to stop their next raid.
ROMANCE ON THE RANGE - 1942, 60 Mins., B&W Starring: Roy Rogers, George "Gabby" Hayes, Linda Hayes, Edward Pawley, Sally Payne Synopsis: Roy Rogers, owner of a western ranch, suspects his foreman Banning of looting his fur traps. He goes undercover as a ranch hand on his own ranch, and romances trading post owner Joan Stuart. Roy discovers that Banning is the head of a gang who steals fur from ranchers and fences it at the Trading Post. Joan, pleading her innocence, works with Roy to capture Banning and his gang of outlaws.
