Okay, so for starters, I'm a huge Indy fan. I have waited a long time for an Indiana Jones action figure line with decent quality and many characters, and since I've collected Star Wars figures forever, I actually wanted them to be this 3 3/4 size too (granted, I prefer my other collectible figures to be 6 inches or so, but I don't usually get accessories or playsets for those). With the release of INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL, it's been nineteen years since the last Indiana Jones flick. Granted the facial sculptures on these figures isn't the greatest. But, in my opinion I happen to like it that way. It gives these new Indiana Jones figures a type of nostalgic quality. This Indy figure kind of harkens back to the old Kenner toy day's of the late 70's and 80's. I like that. After all, these are just small 4" inch action figures, not sculptures or statues. I love Indiana Jones and have looked forward to a new series of figures, particularly Raiders figures. The figure has neat features and plenty of articulation, but the likeness to Harrison Ford is sorely lacking. The face looks like someone you would find living in a dumpster behind a bar. You might be better off pulling the head off of a Han Solo figure and placing it on Indy, unfortunately you would lose the trademark hat. Oh well, I am still happy to have him in my collection.
