This could have been so much more interesting. They had a good premise for a movie, and they went and messed it up with a stupid bunch of cannibals. Lame. Decent acting even though the story went to hell pretty quick. I love most of the other horrorfest films, so this was a disappointment.

After getting mostly negative reviews from critics and most fans, Blade the Series ended after just 12 episodes. New Line Home Entertainment is now bringing the complete series to fans in a four disc DVD set which includes the two-part pilot episode. Michael Madsen as a post-apocalyptic cannibal? Sound somewhat promising. Unfortunately he has a very small insignificant role.
The story is nothing new, except the end of the world was caused by escalating gas prices. People get hungry and eat other people. Some survivors take refuge in a local hospital and get trapped by the flesh eaters known as The Rovers.
This isn't completely horrible, just pretty unoriginal and basic.

I had very low expectations for this movie, i mean i have been reading alot of negative reviews about the 2007 Horror fest movies and especially about tooth and nail..

This is a well above average addition to the After Dark Horror Fest '07. It's not great, but I did really enjoy watching it. This post apocalyptic horror flick holds a somewhat interesting story, above par acting, and some excellent gore, though there was the opportunity to have more.
