Funk D'Void's mix showcases his vast musical background, presenting us with a combination of tracks intricately pieced together in aural delight. Keys blend together harmoniously and elements combine almost to create whole new tracks through his mixes alone. The opening mix of Itamar Sagi's 'Black Gold' and Lars' own mix of Beroshima's deeper-than-deep 'Horizon' is so extensive at two and a half minutes it's almost as if the two tracks were made as one.

The Sci-fi Hi-fi series on Soma has quickly become one of the best mix series out there, and it is unique in their approach to dance music. However, I felt compelled to write a review for this CD, because it not only reached my high expectations but exceeded them. Funk D'Void is a techno producer par excellence, and his recent production, particularly White Light with Phil K, has the driving melodic edge that attracts me so much.
