Neil Larson writes great melodies and grooves.
There are some old favorites,"Demonette","Jungle Fever","Sudden Samba",
as well as compositions, that to my knowledge, haven't been recorded yet.
The band,of course, is top flight. Robben Ford, Tom Brechtlein, Jimmy Haslip,Gary Meek and Lee Thornburg are all seasoned pros in Rock,Jazz,
R and B, Blues, Fusion and more.

Anybody who enjoyed Neil Larsen's stellar organ and keyboard playing in the late '70s or '80s as a solo artist or part of the fusion duo Larsen/Feiten Band is guaranteed a good blast off back into "Orbit" with this release. Larsen re-works a few old nuggets, adds a number of new compositions (his best new stuff perhaps in the last 20 years), and wraps it into a seamless, grooving package with an updated 21st century sound. Fans of Jungle Fever and High Gear will enjoy this mostly jazzy collection with Robben Ford on guitar and a very energetic Tom Brechline on drums. Great new tunes with Neils awesome Hammond and Piano work on display. Great record. Enjoy.
