Product Description: This classic western series was the first to be filmed in color even though the majority of television sets in the country were black and white. The show presented the tales of The Cisco Kid (Duncan Renaldo) and his trusty sidekick Pancho (Leo Carrillo) as they traveled about the West coming to the aid of those in need of it. One of the most interesting aspects about this program is the fact the main characters were Hispanic and presented in a positive manner making it unique since most programming on television at the time featured Caucasian performers presenting shows geared toward a Caucasian audience.System Requirements:Running Time: 875 minutesFormat: DVD MOVIE Genre: TELEVISION/SERIES & SEQUELS UPC: 683904505781 Manufacturer No: MV50578

These are just good fun and entertaining. Not up to today's standards for scenes and tricks, but lots of fun to watch and a great reminder of the days when high tech was not the solution and good guys were noble, honest and humble.

All episodes in color, but the quality is about a 7 on a scale of 10; the real problem is my equipment can not track/playback with out stops and starts. I have tried differnet disks and they all playback with jerks and moments of still picture and no sound. I am disappointed with this set. Other products from this distributor have not had this problem.

If you like the Lone Ranger or Gene Autry, you'll like the Cisco Kid. It was very much a carbon copy of the genre (flashy itinerant hero with sidekick). As a child I loved the Cisco Kid. It is great to watch these programs again. One word of caution is about the color. Cisco Kid was revolutionary in its early use of color, but the down side is that because of the age of the original film, the color has deteriorated to a point where it is not much different from black and white.

When you heard those lines, you knew the show was over. I watched this series when I was around 4 or 5 years old and didn't really recall any of the episodes from then. I do remember that I liked the show as it was always exciting and the good guys came out on top and the bad guys bit the dust.
This 3-DVD set is priced around $7.50 and if nothing else is an outstanding value. This set is titled " The Best Of The Cisco Kid" and includes 35 episodes filmed in color (supposedly the first ... Read More

I remember watching this version of the Lone Ranger on t.v. with my dad. It's good holsom adventure with very inventive plots that make you cheer for the Cisco Kid and his sidekick Pancho. The only flaw to this particuler dvd is that you can see that some of the colorization is kind of screwy. They should have left in black and white cause it looks like a semi cheesy product put on dvd. It's fun but I really wouldn't recommend it unless you have the patience to accept the different colored prints ... Read More
