This classic western series was the first to be filmed in color even though the majority of television sets in the country were black and white. The show presented the tales of The Cisco Kid (Duncan Renaldo) and his trusty sidekick Pancho (Leo Carrillo) as they traveled about the West coming to the aid of those in need of it. I bought these mostly to bring back some childhood memories. Cisco and Pancho are still enjoyable after not having viewed them for 45 years. The video quality is acceptable.

This set of 3 discs offers 35 episodes of The Cisco Kid at a more than affordable price. Whether these particular episodes represent the "best" of the show is beside the point, who cares, what really matters is for a very low price lovers of this series get 35 episodes, mostly in color.
I have a couple other Mill Creek sets (Robin Hood and 20 John Wayne features) and for the price these folks issue very good products. Granted they are not always the best in quality, but ... Read More

The 35 episodes in BEST OF THE CISCO KID are from the show's first two seasons. Discs are double-side recorded. Look here for both TV Lois Lanes from "The Adventures of Superman," early western serial specialist Kermit Maynard, Gail Davis (star of TV's "Annie Oakley") and character actor Denver Pyle.
