I have not been able to put this one down! The Wii was a perfect choice for the re-release of Okami. This game looks great and plays very well. The brush can be a bit temperamental at times but that has not been a huge thing for me.
If you want fun then go for this one!

I really wanted to like this game. Having been a huge fan of Zelda Twilight Princess on the Wii, and of this genre of games in general, I had high hopes for Wii Okami. And it really does have its moments that lived up to expectations. But it simply runs out of steam towards the end. The story gets too convoluted, and the final boss is RIDICULOUS in the LAME sense of the word. I don't want to write any spoilers, but that thing was just plain dumb. a wonderful upgrade and port from the old ps version. i love the visuals. while the use of the wiimote for the celestial brush techniques is cool, it takes a lot of practice to get it right.

Okami is one of the most unique, interesting, exciting, cultural, and revolutionary games to hit the shelves.
Graphics- Wow. Japanese art really brings this game to life in 3D. The colors are bright and vivid. There are almost no glitches and the characters look great. Throughout the whole game you will never forget that you are in Japan.

- dialogue too long but important to story
- spent 50 hours to finish game and read the story w/o skipping
- probably minimal replay value once you finish it
