Contempt

Contempt stars Michel Piccoli as a screenwriter torn between the demands of a proud European director (Fritz Lang), a crude and arrogant American producer (Jack Palance), and his disillusioned wife, Camille (Brigitte Bardot) as he attempts to doctor the script for a new film version of The Odyssey.
Band of Outsiders
Two restless young men (Sami Frey and Claude Brasseur) enlist the object of their desire (Anna Karina) to help them commit a robbery--in her own home. French New Wave pioneer Jean-Luc Godard takes to the streets of Paris to re-imagine the gangster genre, spinning an audacious yarn that's at once sentimental and insouciant, romantic and melancholy.

These three criterion films are great and made me want to dive even deeper into Godard's work. The films are cheaper in this package than separately so if you want to jump head first into this wonderful director's work you can find three of his best pictures right here.
