My husband yesterday had his nose broken by one of these balls, thrown at him by a 6-year-old when he was looking in another direction. You might think they look innocuous but they are as hard as any hardball, so need as much care in usage, and the string attachment means they can be whipped around pretty fast. Perhaps it was a freak accident, but please be careful with these things.

I bought this for my son as an accessory to his pokemon costume. The pokemon does pop out of the ball when flicking/throwing the ball. Unfortunately, it pops out TOO easily! Also, the string is a little too rigid, doesn't allow the ball to be thrown too far away. Not bad for a toy overall.
