Emergency really hit home with me when I was a kid because my Dad is a fireman/paramedic. It always made me feel like I could share a part of my Dad's work life because he was very quiet, at least around me, about the things that happened at work. As an adult, with a sister who is now in the department, watching this show is kinda funny because of how advanced we have become. Awesome show. Grew up with it when both my husband and I were kids. This was half the reason we both went into emergency services. Our kids are now getting to enjoy the clssic tv that we enjoyed. Also Amazon was great with their shipping and customer service.

As a kid I remember eagerly watching this series, and could not wait for the next episode to appear on TV. Now I eagerly await the next season to be released on DVD. This is as good a series NOW, as it was when it was released. It has a perfect mix of drama, action, and humour. If you have not seen Emergency, then buy a season, I will guarrantee you will buy them all. Season Four lives up to the high standard of the first three.
