This game is entertaining. In a group, it's obviously more fun. But alone is good too. I'd recommend getting another guitar controller though. I think they should have included one. My boyfriend and I play it, and usually I'm on the guitar, and he plays the drums. But sometimes he gets bored with the drums, and wants the guitar, but I don't really like the drums. My 12 yr old son bought Rockband for Playstation after the price dropped to $99. It was a great purchase! He loves the drums and guitar and those less coordinated, like his parents, love the microphone. We also enjoy the wide range of songs on the game. The songs a 40 yr old knows well are different from those a 12 yr old knows but we are having fun learning and playing all of them. It has provided us with hours of entertainment. I really love Rock Band cause it lets me and my friends all play instead of just 2 guitars as with that other game ;) But a warning to all slim-PS2 owners... this game can be VERY difficult to get working. The old "fat" PS2 seems to never has trouble. I have both, but I have tried it on other slim PS2 and also have TONS of trouble getting it loading.
