Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Star Trek: Conquest is a single-player game of galactic conquest featuring a blend of strategy and action set in The Next Generation era. Players take control of Federation, Klingon, Romulan, Cardassian, Dominion, and Breen forces and lead them in a campaign to control the galaxy, one planet at a time. Players must build and manage their growing empires in turn-based strategy, and then engage in all out starship combat in real-time action.

Strategically, players must effectively manage their limited resources to expand their empire. Players can decide how to best achieve objectives by managing fleets, admirals, building support structures, researching technology and engaging enemies in combat. Once battle is initiated, the game switches to a ship level tactical view allowing players to take direct command of their ships and engage in real-time combat.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Enjoyed it
I loved startrek tng for a long time. This game helped live some of the old memory's. It's challenging and fun to play.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Not very good, and I love Risk
This game is mediocre at best.

The menu's and text is too small and out of place.

The ships look nice but are too balanced. (A voyager like ship taking out a borg cube, for example)

The main map is always the same with the same races in the same spots. While that's true to the Star Trek Universe it'd have been nice to see alternative maps or starting positions. The map itself is way too small. There's only a few 'indigenous' species seperating players. ... Read More

Video Game was very entertaining.
Video Game arrived in a very timely fashion.
Video Game arrived in excellent condition.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Simple Sweet Satisfaction.
How will you conquer the galaxy? Will you move as far as you can and only fortify the front lines? or will you only move up once fortified? what species will you choose? fleet will you build? people will you conquer? these are the questions you will be faced with in Star Trek Conquests. will you build the strongest fleet? or the fastest? perhaps a bit of both. the objective: to defeat all other races as fast as possible or become another bit of galactic debris, free floating in the cold abyss of ... Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - You get what you pay for
Star Trek: Conquest is bargain bin cheap, and for good reason. The game, while entertaining, is extremely shallow and will not take long for you to tire of it. I've played two "campaigns", the deepest game mode included in the game, and I'm already growing tired of it.

I can forgive many of the game's faults, like its "galaxy at war" premise, lack of diplomacy, limited number of ship types, and the complete absence of main characters (at least as far as the Federation goes), but there ... Read More
