Directed by Renny Harlin, the 1990 sequel, Die Hard 2 (unofficially referred to as Die Harder), doesn't match the level of the original, but it's still an exciting thrill ride with some terrific action sequences. One year after the Nakatomi incident, McClane (Willis) is awaiting his wife's (Bedelia) plane to arrive at Dulles Airport when he stumbles onto a plot to paralyze the entire airport, including all the planes trying to land. It's up to McClane to take on the cadre of bad guys despite all the bureaucrats standing in his way, and before the planes run out of fuel and crash to the ground. The cast includes William Sadler as rogue military man Col. This is the second best in the Die Hard series. The Blu Ray edition makes it even more fun at the movies. Check it out for yourself.

Die Hard 2, like so many other sequels, fails to live up to it's predecessor. That said, this is still a successful film. Don't continuously compare to the 1988 film, and you'll probably like it. John McClane is now a minor celebrity for his exploits at the Nakatomi building in Los Angeles. He is at the Dulles international airport in D.C., waiting for Holly's plane to arrive. I love all the Die Hard movies. I own all of them on Blu Ray. The picture on this movie is unbelieveable and the sound is outstanding. This is a true testment of Blu Ray. Overall I'm a HUGE Bruce Willis fan .....especially the Die Hard series. So I guess this review is more of a statement as to how great Blu Ray is...the movie really speaks for itself.
