I bought this game in a hyperventilating BSG phase. The reviews said it sucked. I failed to restrain my fanboyism and paid the price. God was right to punish me.
The game is boring button mashing and little more. You have minimal control over your own survival, as attacks are flying at you from all angles, particularly behind. The game is set in space but is as 2D as a game of chess. The good sound effects and tiniest hint of atmosphere can't save it from lame-osity. There's just basically ... Read More

The Game needs DirectX 9 and PixelShader none of which was mentioned as requirements before I purchased this game. I will now have to get a 100$ graphics card to even play it!

I've become quite a big fan of this show and have been looking for a game version of the newer version of BSG. The arcade gameplay was enjoyable but the lack of voice overs, cutscenes, and poor storyline is why i gave the game such a poor rating. The keyboard controls are also kind of wierd to get use too, so i would recommend a controller pad. Plus the gameplay seems better suited for a controller.
While shopping for this game, i read a review on it referring to the xbox BSG containing much ... Read More

When I bought this game I expected to see, a flight sim, ITS NOT. Its more of a arcade game. Now I wouldn't play this on my own time. IF... I had a laptop that wasn't high end, maybe for school or something... I'd probably install it on there and play it when im not at home or on a road trip. The game can provide some fun, but if i really want to fly a viper ill play the BSG game for Xbox, or play the Battlestar Galactica Freelancer mod.

Don't you hate it when you purchase something and the end product feels like it was rushed?
You certainly wouldn't want to buy food that was rushed. The end result would be something that wasn't cooked properly and could very well make you sick.
Books that are rushed are no fun to read. To me, I get the impression that the author was in a hurry to collect his royalty's cheque and be damned the fans.
Well, that's exactly the way I feel about the Battlestar Galactica PC ... Read More
