This this is worth it's weight in gold at our house. Our daughter plays with it all the time, she has the little figures that go with it. She pulls the doors off sometimes but they just snap back on. As for the smell, there is none. At least the one we got. If your child is a scooby doo fan they will love this.

Bought this for the girl for her 5th bday.
She loves it!
It's a bit pricey for the value. The doors seem to pop off a bit every now and again. They are easy to put back on though.

My kids love this toy! My only complaint, the plastic peices smell funny at first, but this goes away after a while!

My son got this toy along with Scooby Doo characters for his 4th birthday. It is his favorite toy. The characters are not that durable but a little super glue did the trick. My son has his Mystery Machine with him at all times during the day. I think it is a must for a Scooby Doo fan. A little pricey for the characters and the van, but worth it!

This is a good, fun toy for my little one. Looks just like the van in Scooby-Doo, and so do the matching characters that are sold separately. Quality is okay, except one door continues to fall off. My son is 3-1/2 years old and enjoys it, but it may not be too entertaining for older kids because it doesn't do anything except what the imagination can think up.
