Product Description: Continuing its tradition of events, the Duel Academy has decided to hold a "Tag Duel Tournament" this year. All the students are running about trying to find the right Tag Partner to ensure they'll win! You take on the role of a transfer student who has just joined in the midst of all the excitement. Players must duel the best duelists in Duel Academy, building trust and friendship in order to find the right partner for the "Tag Duel Tournament". In this tournament, whether or not you will find true friendship and "unity" depends on their compatibility with your partner and your dueling spirit.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny is, as hard is it may be to believe, the first Yu-Gi-Oh! game to come out for the PS2 that depicts the actual TCG. The other two games for this system, Duelists of the Rose and Capsule Monster Coliseum, while having the Yu-Gi-Oh! name, weren't in the form of a trading card game. I don't play PSP games so I have no idea what the other yugioh games were like so this review don't apply to tag force. However I will compare to Duelist of the Rose and Forgotten Memories which are both played on Playstation 2. I felt that Capsule Monster Colisum were too different to be compared to other Yugioh PS2 games because of its limited monster pieces and single direction storylines. It have been a while since Duelist of the Rose came out so it was exciting to see that a new Yugioh game finally ... Read More

THIS was delayed?!
Seriously, how in the world was this game delayed? It is literally a remake of Tagforce 1 from the PSP. Talk about lazy. They took out several key elements from Tagforce 1 ( the free cards on the ground for starters) and didn't fix ANY of the issues of said game ( WHERE ARE THE FREAKING VOICE OVERS?!) and WORSE, the game has LAG now. HOW can a PSP remake have LAG on a PS2?! If you played Tagforce 1 then there is really NO point in buying this game, since you already beat it on your ... Read More
