Abbott and Costello were just plain funny. Their timing was impecable. It' great to see all of their stuff ressurected for all of us to see once again. For anyone to want to see these (or the 3 Stooges) colorized is ludicrous. Colorized versions are phony looking and washed out. These are meant to be seen in their original format.

Abbot & Costello: Funniest Routines Vol 1 is a great collection of classic routines from my favorite comedy team. There is close to an hour and a half of comedy on the disc, and they're the type of bits the whole family can enjoy.

Well, I've been fooled again. I bought this DVD along with Vol. 2 of A&C Funniest expecting to get COLORIZED versions of the Colgate Comedy A&C comedy routines, instead all I got was b/w versions of their bits. The bits are good, for sure, but I expected to get COLOR versions, not the b/w drab versions. I am very disappointed, I wanted these in color. I was also fooled with another Legend release supposedly releasing 3 Stooges bits in color, instead only a tiny piece was colorized and the majority ... Read More
