Editorial Review:
Amazon.com: Yep, that ugly toy with the killer's instinct is back for a fifth round of irreverent bloodshed in Seed of Chucky. Chucky and his plastic partner Tiffany are reanimated by their child, a gentle doll of indeterminate gender who'd prefer that his parents stopped their knife-wielding ways. No such luck. In an attempt at irony that also includes John Waters as a tabloid reporter, Jennifer Tilly (who also voices Tiffany) is asked to play herself, a B-grade actress tired of being stuck in a movie filled with murderous dolls. She courts rap star Redman, playing himself, when she hears he's looking for someone to play the mother of Jesus in a new film. Chuck, Tiffany, and spawn naturally interrupt such ridiculous plans. Writer/director Don Mancini has the trio doing things you have to see to believe, including a vivid disembowelment and a human impregnation featuring a turkey baster filled with, you guessed it, the seed of Chucky. It's junk, sure, and tension-free, but Tilly's willing self-debasement is fairly jaw-dropping. If you're so inclined, her shameless decision to play along may be reason enough to suffer the consequences. --Steve Wiecking
Description: In this outrageous, unrated and fully extended version of Seed of Chucky, everyone's favorite killer doll returns-and he's bringing the entire family! This time around, Chucky (voiced again by Brad Dourif) and his homicidal honey, Tiffany, are brought back to life by their orphan offspring, Glen. Then the horror goes Hollywood as Chucky unleashes his own brand of murderous mayhem! Featuring Academy Award® nominee* Jennifer Tilly (as herself and the voice of Tiffany) and hip-hop star Redman, it's more gore, more gags, and much more Chucky doing his dirtiest deeds yet!

Starting from the first movie I have to say that it was ok and it became a hit because of the innovation with an evil doll plus the voice of the great Brad Dourif and very dark humor of it. Very 80's movie. The sequel was an improvement of effects and it was ok to see litle Andy evolved as a character. Part three I have to say it was very entertaining. Andy grown up and it's trying to open a way to keep going with his life without falling into madness as long Chucky it's behind all his bad fortune ... Read More

Chucky movies started out as scary type more serious, but over the years they have become a clasic and funnier and I believe the director has plans for a few more and of course putting in the funny lines.
