RC64 is an exact replacement for my lost DirecTV RC64. It is programmable for any brand TV and works just like my original remote. I could not be more pleased with this remote.

Ihe remote worked just like the original one did that came with the DVR. I am very pleased with that.

I ordered this remote as an "extra" remote since my kids are always stealing the current one to play with. This one is exactly the same as the one that originally came with our directv system. I literally took it out of the box, put batteries in it and it worked on our directv system.
I did have to program it to work the volume on our tv but it took about 2 minutes following the instructions on screen.

I bought this remote because the receiver in my RV had an older style remote and would not work with my TV requiring me to do the volume with the TV remote. Also, this remote is like the other ones in my home so now I can find the right button in the dark! Works great!
