I've never owned any of the other dragonball z games, so I can't really tell you if this one is better or worse.
The game is very fun to play, and the reason I bought it was to play as all the characters. There are so many! The game however only kept my attention for a couple of weeks at most until I kind of forgot about it. If you're going to buy this game, I suggest buying it used for a cheaper price. This is easily my second favorite DBZ Game besides Budokai 3 yes its long but I had with this game I say this is buy for DBZ fans.
