I first played this game before the expansion kit was available. We took two battlelore games togeather and played which cost about 140.00 to buy 2 games our friend told us but he loved the game so it was worth it. My husband,myself, and my three son played and had a blast. It is not a can game you can change it up and can buy the army you want. It can be as big or small as you want which children like that.
