This game is really well made - high quality everything. The one thing that stops this game from being the funnest ever is how much work it is to play. It is exhausting. another negative is that the GDF or human-side have a very small selection of weapons to use. It really is a great game beyond that though.
High system requirements by the way. (really sweet graphics if you have a nice system)And the bots are also high quality.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is not your typical Quake game.
First off, if you`re looking for a deep, story based shooter, you won`t find it here.
Basically this installment in the popular series takes place between
Quake and Quake 2, where the Strogg are finally invading Earth after they finished their own wars on their home planet.
That is the only "story" your going to get.
First, the good:
1. Quake Wars shooting mechanics work great, forcing you to strategize ... Read More

If it weren't because the special edition box looks so good I wouldn't rate it 3 but 2 overall. I haven't looked into the 2nd disk much but the game isn't as impressive as the video it shows on this page. There's not a squad feeling here and even if the game focuses on team play it sometimes feel like each man for themself. The solo play is frustrating, you ask the teammate NPC to pick you up "denied", need cover "denied", everything is denied 90% of the time, the only 10% works when you are key to ... Read More

Gettting this product as a gift I was really looking forward to playing it after playing the Original Quake Games.
This one is nothing like those. The graphics are OK at times, but the game never fully convinces you that you are playing anything but a game. It does not immerse you into the action like other games like Crysis and Call of Duty 4, both of which I recommend Highly!
The Voice Overs are very annoying! and the sounds are very "Tinny"! When you hop on one of the ... Read More

Since the regular edition has already been reviewed a few times, I'll start with discussing the collector's edition's bonus content. For the collector's edition, you get the nifty (and quite sturdy) slipcase, the collector's cards, and the bonus DVD. Unlike in some games, for balance reasons, you obviously get no in-game advantage for buying the collector's edition (like getting extra weapons for the NC INTERACTIVE Guild Wars Special Edition ( Windows )), and a nifty flying whelp for World Of Warcraft ...
