Description: Wholesome fun for the entire family! Daniel Boone Season 4
Fess Parker stars as Daniel Boone, in this timeless classic series. Daniel Boone, America's classic frontier hero, continues his adventures right here with Season 4 - now on DVD. Digitally restored and re-mastered from its original television presentation in 1967 - in brilliant color!

This series lives up to all the others. We would like to know what happened to Gemima. None of the shows, tell what happened they just never have her on or mention her.

I love this series!
However, while I give Seasons 2 and 3 Five Stars (Season 1 had not yet hit a stride), this Season (4) has some problems:
1) The writing just isn't as good as the previous 2 seasons. Too much Israel Boone, and too much of the same type of story with the British, and too many "unbelievable" situations. Sometimes Boone is made to look like a weakling while Israel saves his life! Give me a break.
2) The audio is out of sync on these episodes sometimes. Funny ... Read More

The 165 one-hour episodes (45 in B&W, 120 in color) of the frontier western "Daniel Boone" originally aired on NBC from 1964-1970. So this DVD set is the fourth of six seasons for this extremely popular baby boomer show. The show itself may seem a little odd today due to an uncharacteristic emphasis on racial/ethnic diversity (insert Ed Ames as Mingo and NFL lineman Rosey Grier as Gabe Cooper). But the times were a-changing as the country tried to turn itself into LBJ's "Great Society" and network executives ... Read More

With 4 children under the age of 9 and with the memory of Fess Parker as Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett still etched in my head from the 'golden years' growing up, I can tell you that my children loved every minute of the suspense of this movie (save for each of them biting their nails)! The lessons and morals taught are invaluable and at such contrast to the mindless movies and programming children today are subjected to. I met Fess Parker in person in 2/08 at his hotel in Santa Barabara and I assure you that ... Read More

This was a great series when I was a kid and now has become a great journey down memory lane. Liberation Entertainment has done a wonderful job of recreating this series. I didn't realize it as a kid, but with each season the acting the scenery and overall quality gets better. If you enjoyed this series as a kid, I know that you will enjoy watching them again. In my mind, Fess Parker will never grow old and the life lessons and morals come through with each episode that I watch. It's too bad that kids today do not ... Read More
