My grandson loves his Pirate Pocket Watch which was bought as a replacement for a lost McDonald's Happy Meal gift. I searched the toy box to no avail to find the compass my grandson thought he left behind. I finally went to Amazon to see if I could find a substitute. This watch/compass worked fine and saved the day.

Bought this item for my 4 year old after owning the Wild Planet Treasure Hunt game (which is fantastic) and thought the quality would be the same. Boy were we sadly mistaken.
My son was very exceited about this toy especially because he has been learning how to tell time but doesn't like wearing a watch on his wrist so this sounded like the perfect solution as well as it being a compass and of course anything Pirate related. My son loves this toy. He's usually loses intrest fast in toys but he was so excited to get this toy, but when it arrived the watch part did not work. We thought the battery had died, so we took it to the jewelers to get it replaced with a new one and it still did not work, so I guess the watch it self is just broken. Also, I ordered this for my son because not only could he tell time on it (which he can't any more) but we were excited about showing him how a compass works. I guess I did not read ... Read More
