All in all we like the game. I purchased GH3 for my wife and then got her this game as she was a teen in the 80's. She says that its a little bit short for game play but she likes the music. Also she has fun playing it.

This game is a great idea and one that I've been looking forward to, however the actual execution of the game is really poor. I find that in most cases the music doesn't match the note-target thingys. No, I'm not talking about the abundant music-sync issues, I'm talking about the music not matching the targets you have to hit - so much so that for me, the game is totally not enjoyable. I LOVE playing this game with my kids! I wasn't a big fan of Guitar Hero at first because it seemed a bit too challenging until my son walked me through the "training mode." I am now addicted and I LOVE all the 80s music!

I am completely amazed how long this game kept a [...] price tag. This game is nowhere near worth $50. Overall, its a solid Guitar Hero game featuring great 80s hits. If you love 80s music and Guitar Hero you will love this game.

I have Guitar Hero 3 and Aerosmith for the Wii, and Guitar Hero 1 and 2 for the PS2. I love playing all of them, mainly because I love the music, and also, my 3 year old likes to play along with a play guitar, so it is a good bonding experience (he always wins...).
