Editorial Review:

Amazon.com:
A woman is forced to confront her dark side when she investigates her husband's suspected infidelity.

Catherine (Emily Lloyd) wants to marry Jonathan (Anthony Green), but she doesn't trust him. Her mysterious neighbor Ren?e (Valerie Edmond) puts her in touch with private detective Jeremy (Stuart McQuarrie). Jeremy suggests that Catherine test her future husband and hires beautiful young Isobel (Natalie Walter) for the task...

A captivating drama, of jealousy and love gone wrong, with deadly consequences - beautifully shot on location in the City of London, with an intriguing performance by acclaimed British actress Emily Lloyd ("A River Runs Through It", "Wish You Were Here") and a haunting soundtrack by award winning composer Dominik Scherrer.

Written and directed by Michael Gunther

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Enjoyable indie...
Great soundtrack and photography. London as you don't always see it. A rare recent outing of great British actress Emily Lloyd (and some other fine Brits as well). What happened to her, btw...?

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Atmoshperic Indie, great soundtrack
A rare performance from talented actress Emily Lloyd in this atmospheric indie. Not many DVD features, but gorgeous photography and impressive soundtrack. Wish they put a few more features on the DVD, but worth seeing for some vintage Emily Lloyd and moody London footage...

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Caveat Emptor
Please be careful with this DVD. For one, it is a DVD-R, not a silver "pressed" DVD. I had trouble playing it, and it only worked in the 3rd player I tried.

Secondly, the movie is widescreen but is letterboxed in a 4:3 frame (i.e. not anamorphic) meaning that the movie only uses about half the available DVD resolution.

The company concerned is "Filmhouse" who must presumably be a back-room type of setup.
