I bought this for my 7 year old nephew for Christmas and it's a big hit. Not only does it look cool, the games that come with it are a lot of fun. Super easy to hook up and use so kids can do it themselves no problem. A great gift idea for any kid.

It says that its for 10 yrs and up.
I believe them, but i think 6 yr old boys will be able to play this.
My son could not understand the game yet, he's only 1yr 10months.
he likes pressing on the button though. I enjoyed the game myself,
simple enough, child's play.

I wanted to buy a video game type toy for my 4 year old son without spending a lot of money on an X Box type of gaming system. The game has different islands that you sail to. On the way to each island you can battle other pirate ships, which is about all my son can do at this point but he has enough fun doing that.
