I bought this toy for much less than the $50 price tag and still think that I did not receive any value for the money! My son LOVES Pokemon and so I bought this for his birthday. It has NEVER stayed together for more than 2 minutes at a time when he has tried to play with it and he has given up and left it in a pile in the corner of his room.

This toy is a piece of junk!!! My son loves Pokemon and wanted this so badly for Christmas. Based on the reviews and seeing what you get for the price, we didn't get this for him. The poor little guy used gift cards after Christmas to buy this horrible toy! Everytime he tried to play with it, it would completely fall apart! I only paid $25 for this item and may have been upset if I'd paid the original price of $50. As the reviews say, the quality really is substandard, but it's not unacceptable. Being that my son lives and breathes everything Pokemon, this was a perfect gift for him and he loves it like crazy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone whose child is a true die hard Pokemon fan.

My 8 year old son is a pokemon fanatic. So, Santa Claus gave him this. What a horror show. It does not stay together, keeps falling apart, so flimsy a pokemon figure causes it to topple over, pieces of it all over the toy room. It is expensive and really, just an utter piece of junk. I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing this toy for a Christmas gift. My daughter loves Pokemon and we got her this for Christmas. It never assembled well, it kept falling over and breaking. She played with it for all of 10 minutes before it was unenjoyable. It is junk and after 6 months has ended up in the garbage because the parts would not stay together.
