I bought this TV and had it delivered August 2, 2007. There's a one year warranty on it. Surprise! One month after the warranty expired, loud pop and the lamp blew. It's a "user replaceable" part, but one that has to be ordered. Looks like the cost is about $200. So factor that in to the price of the TV when you buy!

I own a 72 inch toshiba and love it I had purchased a 46 inch samsung but after 3 months I found it did not change picture size as well as the toshiba

Excellent picture, very lightweight, easy to use remote. The trucking firm that delivered my television was also excellent. They removed the set from the shipping box, checked it over with me and took the packaging with them. It came on the day Amazon promised. I would have no problem recommending this product or ordering another "high ticket" item from Amazon.com

If you are looking to take advantage of dropping 720p DLP TV's (due to the 1080p series out now) this is the Unit for you! For under $1000, this TV offers great quality for the price. Like Most DLPs, this unit has some limitations (you need to be at eye level for best picture and the sound quality is just average - but that applies to all TVs) but the picture is gorgeous. HD looks amazing, and the adjustable viewing modes allow you to tailor it to your likes/dislikes (Softness, brightness, etc.) ... Read More
