Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Tricky controls and a boring game.
This is basically X-men legends re-skinned. The controls are often more confusing than fun, and end up making the game harder than it should be.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Fantastic 4 Stars
You use the Wii-mote and nunchuk and sometimes use motion controls for the special moves. Game also supports multiplayer.

Gameplay is pretty much a beat 'em up and each character is used to unlock a door or something, for instance The Thing (rock guy) is used to bash down walls, steel doors, and cave areas. The Fantasic 4 fight together and you control any character you want and can switch between characters using the d-pad, while the computer will fight with the other 3 characters. ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Surprisingly Addictive!
I am not a fantastic four fanatic. I decided to buy the game because it was so cheap. This game was really fun. You get to be each of the fantastic four at the same time. They are all on the screen fighting/playing at the same time and you get to choose which one you are specifically controlling and switch off between characters. Strategy is also involved, multiple tasks required different characters super power. Incredibly addictive game play. The only downfall is the graphics. I would definitely ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Needs more power cosmic.
Based (somewhat) on the film, and (somewhat) on the comics, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer finds the super powered family fighting an army of Skrulls, rock monsters, Doombots, and some other robots, to find the Silver Surfer so he can save the world from Galactus.

So the story is crap. The writing is crap (I cringed as the Invisible Woman complained about her wedding plans throughout the first stage). The gameplay tended to feel repetitive as the main objective is to go into ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - It's CLOBBERIN' TIME! Or at least FOOM time
For all you old timers who actually know what FOOM means (Friends Of 'Ol Marvel) or MMMS (Merry Marvel Marching Society), here's a decent entry for your Wii library. It's a level by level smash the scrulls game that most six-year olds can play. My son got the hang of it after one session and was hooked.

Downsides:
Be forewarned, it does not follow the traditional story line. If you're a fan of the comic book, leave them by the side of the video monitor. You won't get cool villans. ... Read More
