My brother had this game scince i thank it was between 1991-1992. Turtles 2 was better then the first one. I still have my regular nes. The graphic was nice, and not to mention there fighting skills. My nephew might like this game. Thanks amazon!

TMNT had three great games on the nes and for me, this one is somewhere in between the other two in terms of overall quality. One thing to remember when choosing which one is right for you is simple, how many buddies do you have that want to play a co op beat em up thats nearly 25 years old. If you plan on flying solo, buy the first one for a good single player challenge but if you get someone on controller two, the fun ramps up on this game exponentially.

This is one of the few games that you can still play without getting bored. It is a lot of fun and really challenging. As far as graphics it was one of the best for Nintendo. Buy it, it is one of the few worth playing.

Ok, this was 20 times better than the first Ninja Turtles game. What was Ultra/Konami thinking when designing the first game!? I'm not goin' strike at them hard because of the graphics, but the unfair difficulty, lack of actual Ninja Turtle characters, different abilities of each Turtle (making two of the four useless), and lack of connection with the cartoon series made the first game less than mediocre.
