Not only is the adorable red semi truck transportation for McQueen, Mack is also a "bachelor pad" for the racecar with seven different play features, including a weight machine, car lift for repairs, game station, and more. A great place to cool down after a day of racing, the blue pad is a hang-out area, or -- with the push of the yellow/gray button -- a rocking "dance" lounger for McQueen. The vehicle also has a TV set, an opening fridge for a drink of oil or water, and a car wash with a sink, toothbrush and mirror.
Each character in the Mattel Pixar Cars set is beautifully detailed and blister packaged replica, designed in 1:55 scale die-cast. Measuring 14 inches long and 5 inches tall, the Mack Truck playset is also built with durable hard plastic that stands up to the play of young children. My three year old is thrilled by this Mac and all its accoutrements inside!! His imagination has definitely developed since he has been creating scenarios playing with this and his other Cars. It has proven sturdy. It arrived just in time (early) as my son was asking if the mailman had brought it every 30 minutes!! We are happy!

This is a fun toy. All the little gadgets in the back of Mack are really fun. They do come out pretty easily. The nice thing is they don't break. That's my only criticism of the truck - I wish stuff in the back stayed in the back and was not removable.

The die-cast metal toys from the "Cars" movie are great - detailed, well-made and a lot of fun. The Mack Truck Playset is a disappointment by comparison for a couple reasons. First, it's made of pretty low-quality molded plastic. This makes the detailing blurry and also makes the moving parts feel flimsy and sometimes ill-fitting. Although I wasn't "wowed" by this toy, my 3-year old sure enjoys it! We take it all over the place (with at least one Lightning McQueen car) because it is small/portable. It has bought us a lot of time when waiting at restaurants, doctor's offices, etc. I have had to glue some of the little plastic details back on as they pop off, but, over-all, my little guy has enjoyed this one.

I bought the Mack truck playset for my just about to turn 3 year old grandson. He loves Mack on the Cars movie. He plays with the playset all the time. The only thing I would change is to make the door open at the back without opening the whole trailer up. We improvised and taped a little plastic tab on the door so that our grandson can open and close it. He likes to pretend Lightning McQueen is falling out like in the movie. He has gotten alot of enjoyment out of this toy.
