I'll admit up front I've never played any of the other Mario Party games, so I can't exactly compare it to any others.
The only reason I got to play this at all was because a kid I was babysitting brought it over and convinced me to play it with him. It really was a lot of fun, with a great deal of competitiveness. I only played one of the games with him, but later went back myself and tried some of the others and the mini-games. It's a fun thing to do during free time, and a lot more fun ... Read More

Its mario party! You hit dice and move along a gameboard like candyland. There are blue, red, yellow, and green squares along your path. Mario Party, a video game that plays board-game style inside a video game with Mario characters, has been a great franchise that has brought happiness to many gamers and non-gamers alike, lots of profit to Nintendo, lots of innovation, and, now, lots of disappointment.
