Last year, shark behavioral scientist Dr. Erich Ritter was bitten on his calf by a bull shark while filming with the Discovery Channel in the Bahamas. In this two-hour world premiere, Dr. Ritter will examine the footage of his unfortunate incident for the very first time. Dr. Ritter, and additional scientists and behavioral experts, will discuss and determine the difference between a shark bite and an actual attack - and what triggers sharks to bite. The program will also look at footage of other shark attacks, to help illustrate how different breeds of sharks react to different situations. Computer-generated imaging will be used to demonstrate how the powerful jaws of a shark work.
