I just received this item after ordering it for my nephew's birthday. I was so dissappointed. It is so tiny and cheap looking and I am embarrassed to give it as a gift.

I purchased this guitar for my 3-year old grandson. He LOVED it and was so excited because it looked like a real "rock and roll guitar". He never put this down once he opened the present. When he woke the next morning, the first thing he went for was his "rock and roll guitar".
The sound is annoying but not any more so than other electronic toy. You can shut off the noise each time by pressing on the silver bar but it does start back up with any touch.

This is a very dangerous "toy". There is a strap that is not shown in the picture that could strangle a child. The strings are metal and if broken could cause harm to eyes, etc. I'm reporting this to the CPSC.

The kids loved the guitar, but it was enough to drive the adults insane. Anytime you touch something on the plastic guitar, the toy belts out a long, seemingly never-ending riff.
This toy is only for people with deaf parents.
The guitar plays its own songs - with very little involvement from the kids. It was fun for 20 minutes.

We got this for my son for Christmas, and he LOVES it. I took out the batteries immediately, and he strums on the strings. There are actual strings. The battery-operated noise is really annoying and will only shut off when it wants to (you cannot turn it off). However, my son loves strumming it instead of the automatic sound it used to make.
