My son brought this home from the school library, and we've really enjoyed it.
My son, age 9, was easily able to cook most of the recipes with minimal assistance from me. Nearly all turned out very well, although "Franklins Jam Tarts" were pretty bland.
The precaution instructions were very helpful in beginning a discussion on kitchen safety, and the cartoons sprinkled throughout the book were fun for both of us.

I've owned the hard cover version of this wonderful little book since I was a child.I used to make various recipes then, and I still remarkably use it now, for the Lemon Square recipe which is fabulous.
