This was a very interesting documentary on the Mayas.
I've learned about how they're actually more ancient, better organized, and developed that we've been told. Plus, they weren't savages or anything similar to what has been published. Sure they had practices that by today's standards are considered barbaric. But, if you take the time to study any other religion and/or group of the times, you'd find out that they all practiced/had customs that we wouldn't approve of today.
