Dwight Yoakum's Platinum Collection is a great CD if you like traditional country music, which is my favorite. I'm also a singer/songwriter and can appreciate good music when I hear it. Every song on this CD reflects his love of the music industry and it's a great choice of songs. You won't be disappointed.

Actually bought this for a very good friend of mine, but have been a fan of Dwight Yoakam from the beginning of the 90's. Excellent performer, likeable entertainer

This is a great album, with a really good selection of songs. Some of the tracks are live and others are studio takes. If you like Dwight Yoakum I think you'll enjoy this album. He covers some country classics here as well, like George Jone's "The Grand Tour" and the Hag's "Today I Started Loving You Again."

Has a wide variety of covers and original hits that highlight the range and scope of his talent. The audio in the live tracks leaves a little to be desired.

I'm a relatively new fan (2+ years) and have many of his cd's and 3 DVD's. I treated myself to four more cd's for Christmas and I think as this was the first I played it was the one I most enjoyed. I hope Dwight keeps entertaining his global fans for years to come. Back to the Platinum Collection, it's just brilliant so what are you waiting for? buy it, you won't be disappointed.
