I bought these for my little boy and he adores this toy. He loves that he can push the button and the light comes on. He doesn't use the binocular part. I've looked through them and they are pretty worthless as far as the binocular but very cute toy nontheless.

You cannot beat the price/fun factor of this toy. Although the optics are horrible, kids are not exactly into the details as much as into looking for bugs, using the headlights or listening to the sounds. I would not hesitate to buy again.

My daughter got this for Christmas and just loves it and she is 18 months old. It is really cute and she doesn't even really know how to use them correctly yet, which she will as she grows older so this can grow with her too! It has a lot of fun things on it and the lights on it are actually really nice, they do help you see in the dark. I highly recommend!

Cute toy we picked up really cheap. Definitely out of the age range of our children, 6 and 3, but they still have a ball with them, roaming around in their room in the dark. The light is pretty bright. Volume would be nice. The strength of the lenses aren't spectacular but good enough for the kids. Cute songs it plays.

4 year old and 2 year old both like it. Some observations:
Good
1) Cute!
2) Batteries included
3) LED lights should last a long time and save batteries
4) Plays a variety of insect related songs (La cucaracha, itsly bitsy
itsy bitsy spider, etc)
Not so good
1) No volume control
2) Optics quality poor - one eye has significant distortion. Still, what do you expect for the price?
