To start off, let me begin by stating that I am 32 years old, and I still love playing this game.
I believe this particular game was put together very well. My only gripe matches another reviewers in the lack of online play. I was glad to see that problem corrected in "GX 2".
I've heard some complain of the load times. I don't really see where the problem is concerning that; the "load times" are only before and between duels, not during them. A perfect time to plan a 'strategy' ... Read More

Now, I was not into Yu-gi-Oh until my student starting teaching and telling me about this card game. So after hearing his stories over and over, it peaked my interest. Once you understand about how it works, the world just opens up! I have been playing this game for the past two months! I can't stop! There are so many cards and combinations that it really keep you into the game and wanting to build better and better decks! Load time is simply unacceptable. Its a fun game, but the load time for every single action takes way way too long. Its the standard game, but the game goes at a snail's pace.

- you get access to none of the good cards. you more or less get all junk cards.
- the game uses its own bann list. not just an out dated one form real life but its own list. lots of banned cards like dark hole, tribe infecting virus, cyber jar. you can use only 1 reflect bounder and can use 3 of a spell card that i forgot the name of that remove your face down from play and any copies in either players deck. all in all it uses cards that eitehr a. were banned before the game ...
