This was the absolute best Monkee album ever released. After they had their fallout with Don Kirshner and took total control of their music they released Headquarters to prove they could play and sing on their own. This album was right after Headquarters and took the level of independence a notch higher and the music was exceptional.

An absolute must for any Monkees fan or indeed any fan of 60's pop music. This highly regarded album is my top ten. Buy it and enjoy it!

I am fifty, and male, and I love the Monkees. Nice to see them tweek these old albums from time to time. If a Monkees fan, highly recommended.

The monkees at their best. This was my favorite Monkee Album. The set includes both the Stereo and Mono versions of the Album with extras. I really enjoy listening to this Cd.

We all know the Monkees were the most successful of the pre-packaged bands during the mid-60s and were derided as such. Still, it seems they tried to put their own creative stamp on their music and this release shows it with some unique numbers.
A combination of good tunes penned by some Tin Pan Alley greats, along with creative production yield some classic tunes. Maybe you had to be there to appreciate the record but I think it's stronger than that.
